The South Shore on Maui is also a favorite place for weddings and family celebrations. Plan a day to drive upcountry toward the majestic Haleakala volcano. Along the way visit the towns of Paia and Makawao for authentic Hawaiian vibes. Make stops at the Maui Winery or Ocean Vodka. Book dinner reservations at the stunning Mama's Fish House and watch the windsurfers at Hookipa Beach on the north shore.
